Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs the conditions for the right of withdrawal, cancellation and refunds relating to the educational services offered through the AlgoMathKids platform.

This Policy has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts. By completing a purchase, the user declares that they have read and accepted the conditions set out in this Policy.

1. 1. General Provisions

This Policy applies to the sale of digital educational services offered by TODO: Şirket Ticaret Unvanı A.Ş./Ltd. Şti. ("Seller"), acting in the capacity of seller, through https://algomathkids.com.

The Policy has been drawn up within the scope of Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, and forms an integral part of the distance sales agreement.

2. 2. Withdrawal Period

The consumer may exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which the service agreement is concluded, without assuming any legal or criminal liability and without stating any reason.

For service contracts, the withdrawal period begins on the day the contract is concluded. If performance of the service begins with the consumer’s consent before this period expires, the exceptions set out in Section 5 apply.

3. 3. Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal

A consumer wishing to exercise the right of withdrawal must notify the Seller clearly and comprehensibly within the period. The notification may be made through any of the following communication channels:

  • Information to be provided in the notification: order/transaction number, full name, registered email address, contact details and a clear statement of the withdrawal request.

4. 4. Refunds

If the consumer duly exercises the right of withdrawal, the Seller shall refund the total amount collected within 14 (fourteen) days from the date the withdrawal notice reaches the Seller.

The refund is made to the payment instrument used by the consumer at the time of payment (credit card, debit card or the relevant payment method) and in the same currency. No charge is imposed on the consumer.

The time it takes for the refunded amount to be reflected in the consumer’s account/card depends on the processing times of the payment institution and the bank or card organization. The Seller is not responsible for the reflection period once the refund has been completed within its own systems.

5. 5. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

Pursuant to the Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised, or may be exercised on a limited basis, in the following cases:

  • For services whose performance has begun with the consumer’s consent before the withdrawal period expires, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services that have been fully performed.
  • The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for digital content that is performed instantly in electronic form and delivered to the consumer immediately (e.g. digital course materials made accessible with the consumer’s consent).
  • If participation in live lessons has begun, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for the used portion of the service; in such cases, a proportional (partial) refund principle applies to the remaining, not-yet-performed portion.

6. 6. Partial Use

If services in the nature of a package or course are partially used within the withdrawal period, the value of the portion benefited by the consumer is deducted from the total amount when calculating the refund.

The value of the used portion is determined proportionally based on the number of completed live lessons, the modules or content made accessible, and the duration of the service used. The remaining amount is refunded in accordance with the principles set out in Section 4.

7. 7. Non-Refundable Cases

Refund or withdrawal requests are not accepted in the following cases:

  • Misuse of the service or platform in violation of the terms of use, account sharing, or fraudulent transactions.
  • Services purchased under campaign, discount or special pricing conditions that are expressly stated to be non-refundable in the campaign terms.
  • Requests made after the expiry of the statutory withdrawal period (14 days) that fall within the scope of the exceptions.
